More than 400 alumni and their families attended Homecoming
(Oct. 12, 13, 14) for a weekend of spectacular weather that
was packed with food and camaraderie, sports, music and theater.
But Homecoming is just one of many events and programs that the
Binghamton University Alumni Association has been able to organize
and sponsor due to its careful planning, the support of its board
members and staff, and the enthusiasm of our alumni. Now, the Association
is in the process of implementing its new Long-Range Plan. The plan
focuses "on a future of continued strong alumni involvement and
support for the University," wrote Long-Range Planning Committee
Chair Gerald Putman '76, '84, and Alumni Association Board
President Marty Triano '76. "It's a live action working plan
that drives the day-to-day stuff," noted Chuck Dickson, senior director
of Alumni and Parent Relations.
