Following is a letter to alumni from the Career Development Center:

Dear Binghamton Alumni,

The Career Development Center and the Professional Business Fraternity of Delta Sigma Pi are pleased to invite you to Binghamton University's annual Employer Fair September 18 and 19, 2002. The Employer Fair will enable you, or your organization's representative(s), to interact with interested Binghamton students. Alumni and other professionals have made this event a success in the past.

Strong employer demand for Binghamton candidates, limited space at the fair, and the attendance of over 3000 students at past fairs motivate us to offer participation on either September 18 or September 19. Requests will be honored on a first-come - first-serve basis. Receiving your registration form and payment by August 23 will insure your organization's listing in the Employer Fair Program. Also, canceling attendance to the fair after August 23 will forfeit a refund of the registration fee. The final registration deadline is Friday, September 13 at 5pm (no program listing).

The schedule for the day will be:

9:00 AM -- 10:00 AM Check-in and set-up

10:00 AM -- 10:45 AM Brunch and Employer Services Updates

11:00 AM -- 4:00 PM Employers meet with students

This year the Career Development Center is using an online registration system. Please log on to CDC's homepage at http://cdc.binghamton.edu, click on "Employers" followed by "Employer Fair Registration 2002," and complete the necessary registration information. You will find area hotel listings on our homepage under "Employers" and "Accommodations and Transportation." If you have any questions please call us at (607) 777- 2400. We appreciate your interest in our students and look forward to seeing you at our Employer Fair.

Sincerely,

Bill McCarthy
