Former historian for the Town of Kirkwood and former owner of Cleary Printing Company, Bob is remembered by the Town Board of Kirkwood as a historian as well as a teacher, writer and political adviser. ÒHis work relating to the history of Kirkwood was impeccable, and his friendship to all of us will never be forgotten,Ó noted the Town Board of Kirkwood in his obituary in the Press & Sun-Bulletin. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Bette, and a daughter.

Albert Benderson '66 died Jan. 12, 2003. Al earned his PhD in English literature from the University at Buffalo and worked for many years as a writer and editor for the Educational Testing Service in Princeton, N.J. He is survived by his wife, Carol Bauer Benderson '67, and by their children, Heather, Joseph and David.

Andrew M. Weiss '73 died Feb. 20, 2003. He was 51. Andy went into business with his father running Wes-Tex, a company that provides supplies to summer camps. He was active in the American Camping Association and enjoyed playing basketball, golf and running. He is remembered as a loyal, loving and devoted husband and father and as a caring and attentive friend, who lived each day to the fullest. He took a cross-country trip with his oldest son, Matthew, last fall, as a gift to Matthew after he graduated from college. Andy is survived by his wife, Alexis Capofari Weiss '74, sons, Matthew and Adam, his mother, brother and two sisters.
