     At Homecoming '05: Back to the Eighties, there will be plenty of chances to reconnect with classmates. Click on the following links for comments from class agents and event details for the special reunion classes: 1955, mid-60s, 1975, 1980, 1995, 2000 and 2005 In addition to the milestone classes, get-togethers for special interest groups will include alumni from Residential Life, the Student Association, Pipe Dream and more.

     Former teammates will be gathering for the 20th reunion of women's soccer, the 45th reunion of men's soccer, and the 55th reunion of men's cross country.

      About 450 people came to the first EOP Reunion last year at the 2004 Homecoming and they plan to meet again this year. While alumni enjoy seeing other alumni at the event, "It also gives our current students networking opportunities, and sometimes, what I call an "ah ha" moment.  You know."ah ha, I can do that with my degree" or "ah ha, I can major in that.etc," says Yolanda Whyte, coordinator of the EOP reunion.

     Robert Negron '72 (baseball), Kim Jacoby '88 (softball, basketball, volleyball, soccer), Matt Feinberg '97 (swimming), and Monique Hacker '00 (track and field) will be inducted into the University's Athletic Hall of Fame at the 10 th Annual Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and dinner Friday night.
     
     There will be a number of special presentations by alumni guests, including: Maggie Bellville '75, one of cable and telecommunications top female executives and innovators, will present Women as Leaders: Personal Power and Risk Taking on October 21, from 3:30 - 5; Richie Walter '65 and Andy Bergman '65, noted filmmakers, will present a free-ranging session on life, the movie biz and screenwriting.

     Take a few minutes to enjoy the alumni art exhibit, located in Room 179 in the Fine Arts Building, featuring the work of alumni artists. Successful alumni in the art world will participate in a panel discussion from 2 - 4 p.m. Friday in Casadeseus Hall in the Fine

Arts Building.

     Entertainment highlights include a performance by stand-up comedian Lewis Black on Sunday, October 23, in the West Gym. Black, whose weekly segment on Comedy Central's The Daily Show is an assault on all things stupid, has made appearances on the Late Show with Conan O'Brien , Murphy Brown and Mad About You.      Other performances include the Department of Theatre's The Comedy of Asses and A Grand Night for Singing! A Rodgers and Hammerstein Gala, in the Anderson Center 's Osterhout Concert Theater.
