Binghamton University is the only college in the Northeast to offer personal parking meters to drivers who park on campus.

Binghamton launches upgrade of student system

A new suite of software will soon replace Binghamton's core student systems. SunGard Higher Education's Banner software will integrate the processing and delivery of student applications, financial aid, course registration, grades and student billing. It will also allow Binghamton to use a number other than the Social Security Number as students' primary identifier.

"Dr. Quantum" entertains Harpur Forum audience

Fred Alan Wolf didn't shy away from the big questions when he spoke to Harpur Forum members at the Binghamton Club. Wolf sought to find ways to answer "What am I?" and even "Is life cruel and what can we do about it?" with quantum physics.

Binghamton named a top value

Binghamton University has again been named one of the best values in public education by Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine. Binghamton is the second-best value in the country for out-of-state students and comes in fifth for in-state students, according to the magazine's new rankings.
