Trivia Night with Boston area alumni

On Wednesday, March 26, several alumni gathered for our first trivia night at Tommy Doyle's in Harvard Square. Our team, Binghamton +, took first place, correctly answering wide-ranging questions in topics from science to British literature to 1980s heavy metal band lead singers.

Trivia Night will be a recurring event for Binghamton alumni in the Boston area. Be sure to check the Alumni Events Calendar for future Trivia Night dates.

Denver area meet & greet

The Binghamton University Alumni Association hosted a gathering at Wynkoop Brewery, in Denver. The group discussed future Denver events, including regular meetings every "Third Thursday," and also spread the word about another upcoming event - the New York Mets at the Colorado Rockies on June 20. More than 10 alumni were in attendance, sharing good food and beer, and great Binghamton University stories! Dan Polhamus '00, associate director of alumni and parent relations, who was in town for an Academic Impressions conference, staffed the brewery event.

Atlanta alumni gathering

A meet and greet reception took place in Atlanta on March 31. More than 15 alumni met at Gibney's Pub. Brian Rose, vice president of student affairs, met with alumni. Current Residential Life staff members met alumni and talked to them about campus life at Binghamton. Rose and the ResLife staff were in Atlanta for the American College Personnel Association annual conference.
